Nubia Red Magic 3S gaming smartphone was launched in India on Thursday. The key features of the newly-launched gaming smartphone include 6.65-inch full-HD+ display, a 48-megapixel camera, and a 5,000mAh battery, among others. On the competition front in India, Nubia Red Magic 3S is up against OnePlus 7T Pro. Nubia Red Magic 3S
Nubia Red Magic 3S sports a 6.65-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Nubia Red Magic 3S supports dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) technology and runs Android 9 Pie. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with up to 256GB of inbuilt UFS 3.0 storage.
On the imaging front, Nubia Red Magic 3S comes equipped with a single rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with an f/1.79 aperture. Also, there is a 16-megapixel Sony camera with an f/2.0 aperture on the front. Connectivity features on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device further has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. Also, there is a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.
It measures 171.7x78.5x9.65mm and weighs 215 grams. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 27W fast charging. It also boasts stereo-speakers, DTS:X audio support, 3D sound tech, touch-sensitive shoulder triggers, a game boost button, as well as the distinctive RGB lighting. There is liquid cooling on the Nubia Red Magic 3S, featuring an inbuilt cooling fan.
The price for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of Nubia Red Magic 3S in India has been set at Rs 35,999 and it will be available in a Mecha Silver (Space Grey) colour option.
On the other hand, the top-end 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs Rs 47,999 and it will be available in Cyber Shade (Red and Blue) colour variant.
The gaming phone will go on sale starting October 21 via Flipkart.
OnePlus 7T Pro
OnePlus 7T Pro sports a 6.67-inch QHD+ (1440x3120 pixels) Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display panel includes a 3D Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
OnePlus 7T Pro supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC, paired with Adreno 640 GPU and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
OnePlus 7T Pro has the single, 256GB UFS 3.0 of inbuilt storage. It runs Android 10 along with the proprietary OxygenOS skin on top.
On the imaging front, OnePlus 7T Pro comes equipped with the triple rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor with an f/1.6 lens and optical image stabilisation (OIS) as well as electronic image stabilisation (EIS) support. The camera setup also has an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 telephoto lens and OIS support and a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens that offers a field of view (FoV) of 117 degrees. Also, the smartphone has a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 camera sensor on the front.
OnePlus 7T Pro packs a 4,085mAh battery that supports the Warp Charge 30T fast charging technology.
Connectivity options on the newly-launched smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. The device measures 162.6x75.9x8.8mm and weigh 206 grams.

The price for the lone 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of OnePlus 7T Pro in India has been set at Rs 53,999. OnePlus 7T Pro comes in a single, Haze Blue colour option.
