Chinese handset company OnePlus said that its latest flagship phone OnePlus 5T is set to go on sale on Tuesday. The amazing device will be available for purchase on e-commerce website Amazon apart from the company's online store oneplusstore.in.
"We are happy to announce that OnePlus 5T will go live for open sale, starting November 28, across all channels which include Amazon.in and oneplusstore.in," said Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India.
The phone is available in two storage variants – 64 GB variant with 6 GB RAM which costs Rs. 32,999 and 128 GB variant with 8 GB RAM, which costs Rs. 37,999.
However, it would be available only in Midnight Black colour variant. Various data benefits and discounts are also provided along with the phone as part of its introductory offer.
Customers can avail an instant discount of Rs. 1500 while purchasing the phone through HDFC Bank debit and credit cards. Further, there is up to Rs 9601 off if you purchase the device in exchange of some other phone. EMI plans begin at Rs 1569. The order quantity is limited to one device per customer and order placed above it will automatically be cancelled.
Moreover, there is Rs. 500 promotion credit on Kindle app. Idea Cellular users can get up to 100GB data for 18 months. OnePlus is also offering a free 12 month accidental damage insurance to protect your phone from any accidental damages or liquid spills.
The plan originally costs Rs 2000. However, this offer is available only for customers who install and activate Kotak 811 account on OnePlus 5 smartphone. The plan can be availed only till June 30, 2018. There is also a one year complimentary Zomato Gold Membership on offer.
The OnePlus 5T features a 6.01-inch full-HD+ (1080x1920 pixels) Full Optic AMOLED with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 401ppi pixel density, and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display also supports sRGB and DCI-P3 colour gamuts. Just like the OnePlus 5, the OnePlus 5T is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC, clocked at up to 2.45GHz, paired with either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
It also sports a primary sensor that is almost identical to the OnePlus 5, of 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 with 1.12-micron pixels, and an aperture of f/1.7.
The secondary sensor is a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376K which replaces the 20-megapixel Sony IMX350 sensor which came paired with a telephoto lens. Both have the same focal length, of 27.22mm.It is also backed by a 3300mAh non-removable battery and supports the company's Dash Charge fast charging.
