People are already waiting for the official announcement of OnePlus 6 for a while now. But according to reports, few new leaks have highlighted some more information about one of the most awaited smartphones of 2018.
OnePlus’ latest flagship OnePlus 5T is only a few months old, but there are already leaks and rumours surrounding the upcoming model of the OnePlus brand.
According to the latest leaked information, the OnePlus 6 will boosted by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 chipset, powered by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The OnePlus 6 has been reported on benchmarking website and application AnTuTu with a magnificient score. The handset has recorded an average score of 276510 points. The scores also show the OP6 defeating Xiaomi's next flagship Mi MIX 2S, which is ready to mark its debut on March 27.
Benchmarks cannot tell you the exact performance of the device. However, OP6 is one of the brands who has made a name out of these statistics and performance.
The screen is being the hot topic amongst the tech enthusiasts, according to further reports, the display comes with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The notification bar which is unusually quite taller than the other counterparts. The notch will separate out the app notifications on the left, while the right will feature the other icons such as the clock, network, etc.
Google has also released the developer version of Android P, which supports notch. This could be for the update of Android P on Oxygen OS when OnePlus 6 releases in the market.
According to previous leaks, it could also supports wireless charging. The camera is supposedly not positioned on the top left unlike the iPhone X and is positioned above the rear centred fingerprint sensor.
The OnePlus 6 is expected to run Android 8.1 Oreo with the latest Oxygen OS, with Android P lined up for future.
