For the last three years, OnePlus has dominated in the value flagship space by constantly undercutting its rivals. Recently, the Chinese smartphone maker launched another flagship handset called as OnePlus 7 pro. The high-end smartphone of OnePlus has many competitors in the global market and one of them is Huwaei P30 Pro. The OnePlus 7 Pro is the most expensive of the Chinese smartphone maker, but is still cheaper than the Huwaei P30 Pro. The OnePlus 7 pro has a better display, cleaner software and is a faster feeling phone, while the Huwaei P30 Pro has better battery life and cameras. 

If you don't want an iPhone, the OnePlus 7 Pro and Huawei P30 Pro should be high on your list of flagship Android phones to consider. Yes, you read it right.

OnePlus 7 pro

OnePlus 7 pro gets a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED screen with curved edges, Quad-HD+ (3120x1440 pixels) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate and also HDR10+ support.

The OnePlus 7 Pro also gets the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7nm chipset running on eight Kryo cores.

OnePlus 7 Pro comes in three variants - 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM+256GB storage and 12GB RAM+256GB storage.

The battery capacity of the phone has been bumped to 3700mAh to 4000mAh with Warp Charge. The phone also gets dual-speakers with 3D sound helped by Dolby Atmos.

As far as optics are concerned, OnePlus 7 Pro gets a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera on the front. It has a triple-lens rear camera comprising a 48MP (f/1.7) primary sensor with OIS, joined by a 16MP (f/2.2) wide-angle lens with 117-degree field-of-view. The cameras also get PDAF, AI detection and laser autofocus.

OnePlus 7 Pro starts at Rs 48,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant, and Rs 52,999 for the 8GB+256GB model. The premium 12GB+256GB variant of OnePlus 7 Pro is priced at Rs 57,999. 

Huwaei P30 Pro

P30 Pro is the first phone to feature a 5X optical zoom capability. The smartphone uses Huawei's top-of-the-line Kirin 980 SoC and its EMUI software skin is much improved in Android 9 Pie.

Huawei P30 Pro measures in at 158 x 73.4 x 8.4mm and is unwieldy with a 6.47in display, with a small half circle notch at the top. It weighs 192g. 

Huawei P30 Pro has a massive four-lens rear camera setup, consisting of a 40MP f/1.6 main sensor, which the company calls Super Spectrum as it picks up light better, a 20MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens, an 8MP f/3.4 ‘Periscope’ lens for 10x optical zoom, and a time-of-flight lens to help the camera measure depth for better bokeh shots.

The battery capacity of the Huawei P30 Pro is 4,200mAh battery and it costs over Rs 60,000.
