Back in September OPPO A9 2020 was launched. However, the smartphone maker on Tuesday launched a new Vanilla Mint variant of the A9 2020. The key features on Oppo A9 2020 include quad rear camera setup, a 5,000mAh battery, and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, among others.
Coming back to the OPPO A9 2020's new Vanilla Mint colour variant, it brings out the exceptional aesthetics of the smartphone by using nano-optical light color technology which gives the phone a beautiful sheen of refracted light sitting atop its greenish-blue color. The new Vanilla Mint color is inspired by a calm sunny afternoon in a bedroom overlooking the ocean, with waves splashing below and a breezy air blowing through feathery white curtains.
The new 4GB RAM variant is already available on all online and offline stores at an exciting new price of Rs 15,990 as opposed to the initial cost of INR 16,990. Whereas, the 8GB RAM is available for sale from December 1 at a new price of Rs 18,490 as opposed to the introductory price of Rs 19,990. The smartphones also offer an exciting 5 per cent cashback on purchases made through HDFC and ICICI banks. Apart from Vanilla Mint, OPPO A9 2020 is available in Marine Green and Space Purple.
Oppo A9 2020: Specifications
Oppo A9 2020 features a 6.5-inch display with a waterdrop-style notch and Gorilla Glass 3+ protection. The smartphone supports dual-SIM connectivity with Nano-SIM card slots and it runs on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0.1 on top. Oppo A9 2020 is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 665 SoC. It is paired with a 5,000mAh battery.
On the imaging front, Oppo A9 2020 comes equipped with a quad-camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel main camera, whereas A5 2020 has a 12-megapixel primary shooter. The other three rear cameras on the phone include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel monochrome shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portraits. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel shooter for the selfies.

Also, you will get up to 128GB of onboard storage with a microSD card slot (up to 256GB) in the Oppo A9 2020. Additionally, you will get Dolby Atmos support and a rear fingerprint sensor in the smartphone.
