Oppo is all set to launch its bezel-less F5 smartphone on October 26 in the Indian market along with Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.

Ahead of its official launch, the smartphone has been subjected to several leaks and rumours. Few images of the smartphone have also been leaked over the internet a few days ago.

Talking about its specifications, Oppo F5 will be the first smartphone of the company to offer full display with 6-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 2160x1080 pixels.

Oppo F5 will also be a selfie-centric smartphone and feature AI Beauty Recognition Technology. The company says “the AI will self-learn and enhance each shot, as it takes more and more selfies’’.

‘’The new AI-powered tool can recognise skin tone and type, the gender and age of all subjects within an image and analyze environment lighting conditions by referencing other facial images from a massive global photo database, to beautify a selfie shot’’.

Oppo F5 will come with a 20-megapixel camera along with LED flash in the rear and dual 16-megapixel camera in the front.

Oppo F5 is expected to be launched in 4GB and 6GB variants with 64GB and 128GB of storage respectively.

The smartphone is also expected to be powered by 4,000 mAh battery. However, official announcement of its features is yet to be made.

Oppo F5 is expected to be in direct competition with Vivo V7+, OnePlus 5, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2.
