Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is all set to launch its new budget phone K3 in India. It is to be noted that Oppo K3 has already pave its way in China.
India’s online giant Amazon.in has recently released the first teaser for the Oppo K3. The teaser had not mentioned the name of the device, but screen-to-body ratio mentioned there had given away that the device will be Oppo K3.
According to a report by 91mobiles.com, Oppo is gearing up to launch its next-gen K series smartphone in India on July 19th. The smartphone will be available as an online-only device and will be sold via Amazon exclusively in India.
It is to be noted that the handset will be the successor to the Oppo K1. The Oppo K1 was launched earlier this year as the most-affordable phone with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
As we have earlier mentioned that the Oppo K3 has already been launched in China, we know that the device have a pop-up selfie camera design and an edge-to-edge display. The phone is touted to have a key features such as an AMOLED panel, 91.1 percent screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Oppo K3: Specifications
The Oppo K3 will be featured with a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 10801 x 2340 pixels. It will carry an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 without any notch design on the display. The handset will boot Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.0.
The device comes will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, coupled with an 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. It will be fuelled by a 3,765 mAh non-removable battery.
The Oppo K3 will house a dual camera setup with the combination of a 16MP + 2MP camera sensor with an LED flash. At the front, there will be a 16MP camera.
It will measure 161.2×76.0×9.4mm and weigh 191 grams. The phone will also get WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, USB Type-C and GPS + GLONASS for connectivity.
There is no word on the OPPO K3 price in India yet.
