Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, on Friday launched the mid-range smartphone named ‘K3’ in India. The key features of the Oppo K3 include a full screen 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, in-display fingerprint sensor, VOOC 3.0 fast charging, pop-up selfie camera and a Snapdragon 710 chipset.
On the designing front, the Oppo K3 appears to be similar as Oppo Reno series. The smartphone sports a notchless display up front and a 3D glossy rear panel in gradient Aurora Blue and Jade Black colours. It features a 6.5-inch FHD+ (2340x1080) notchless Super AMOLED display with a screen ratio of 91.1 per cent, 394 ppi and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The device measures 161.2x76.0x9.4mm and weighs 191 grams. The Oppo K3 is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 710 chipset paired with Adreno 616 GPU and up to 8GB of RAM. The all-new smartphone runs Android Pie with ColorOS 6 and it also gets an app drawer, Game Boost 2.0 and gesture navigation.
On the imagining front, the Oppo K3 gets a dual rear camera setup which includes a 16-megapixel f/1.7 primary camera and 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the Oppo K3 gets a 16-megapixel sensor housed in the pop-up camera. It is worth mentioning here that the smartphone also supports Dolby Atmos sound.
The 6GB + 64GB storage variant of Oppo K3 costs Rs 16,990, whereas, the price for the 8GB + 128GB storage option of Oppo K3 has been set at Rs 19,990. The smartphone will go on sale starting July 23 at 12pm on Amazon India.
According to a report in India Today, the launch offers include instant discount Rs 1,000 on Axis Bank Debit and Credit card and on Credit Card EMI, Jio benefits worth Rs 7,050, Lenskart gift voucher Rs 5,000, Rs 1,000 cashback on purchasing the Oppo K3 via Amazon Pay, discount up to Rs 12,000 on Oyo and No Cost EMI on 3 and 6 months.
Oppo K3 was launched in China a couple of months ago.
On Thursday, Oppo A9 was launched in India at the price of Rs 15,490. The key highlights of the Oppo A9 include an octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, 128GB of onboard storage, dual rear camera setup and a full-HD+ display. The device will go on sale in India from July 20 onwards via both online and offline stores.
