After a series of leaks and teasers, Oppo K5 was recently launched in China. The key features on the newly-launched smartphone include a quad-camera setup, a waterdrop-style notch, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 64-megapixel primary camera, among others.
Oppo K5: Price & Availability
The price of 6GB + 128GB variant of Oppo K5 in China has been set at Rs CNY 1,899 (approx. Rs 18,900). The 8GB + 128GB model of Oppo K5 costs CNY 2,099 (approx. Rs 20,900) while the 8GB + 256GB model of the smartphone is priced at CNY 2,499 (approx. Rs 24,900). The smartphone is up for reservation on the official website of Oppo, Suning.com, JD.com, and even Tmall. Oppo K5 will go on sale from October 17 in China. The device will be available in Blue, Green, and White gradient finishes.
Oppo K5: Specifications
Oppo K5 sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and is powered by the 2.2GHz Snapdragon 730G processor paired with 8GB RAM. However, the internal storage option is offered up to 256GB.
On the imaging front, Oppo K5 comes equipped with a quad rear camera setup aligned vertically and placed on the top left. The camera setup includes a 64-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 119-degree field of view, and two 2-megapixel sensors with an f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone also houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
It packs a 3,920mAh battery with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 support. Connectivity options on the phone include dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port. The device measures 158.7x75.16x8.55mm, and it weighs 182 grams.
