Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo on Wednesday launched Reno series handsets including Reno 2, Reno 2F and Reno 2Z in the Indian market. The difference in these handsets basically can be seen on camera front, display screen and processors.
Sumit Walia, Vice President, Product and Marketing of Oppo India also revealed that the company has invested over Rs 2,200 crores in its Greater Noida facility and has plans to make India a global export hub.
He also informed that the Greater Noida plant produces almost 50 million smartphones annually. The company has also partnered with Facebook for the smartphone lineup.
Currently, the prices of Oppo Reno 2 and Reno 2Z have been revealed at Rs 36,990 and Rs 29,990 respectively. However, Oppo Reno 2F will be available for sale from November onwards.
Pre bookings for the Reno 2 will start on 10 September and it will go on sale starting 20 September while Reno 2Z will be available for sale from September 6.
Oppo Reno 2 – The handset comes with a 6.5-inch AMOLED Panoramic screen and will be available in two color options including Ocean Blue and Luminous Black. It sports a 48MP Quadcam setup, Ultra Dark Mode, Ultra Steady Video.
Reno 2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor and also supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology.
Oppo Reno 2Z – It comes with a 6.53-inch AMOLED Panoramic Screen and is powered by MTK P90 processor. On optics front, it has a 48MP Quadcam, Ultra Dark Mode, Ultra Steady Video, Bokeh Effect Video.
Oppo Reno 2F – The handset will come 6.53-inch AMOLED Panoramic Screen and is powered by MTK P70 processor. It will be available in 8GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage variant and quad camera setup.
