Chinese handset maker Oppo introduced its R11s and R11s Plus smartphones at an event in home country China on Thursday. The company has made the claim that the two new smartphones sport a screen-to-body ration of more than 85 percent.
Oppo R11s is available in three colour options- black, red and champagne gold. Customers buying Oppo R11s Plus can get the smartphone in either black or champagne gold colour variant.
The main USP of R11s and R11s Plus is the feature of bezel-less display and dual camera. Both the handsets come with dual rear cameras in addition to a 20-megapixel front camera.
Though both the smartphones have almost similar specifications, one can find the differences in the battery, display size and memory.
Oppo R11s comes equipped with a 6.01 inch full HD with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels and sports an Amoled display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The new smartphone is available in 4GB RAM and is backed by a 3205 mAh battery.
Talking about Oppo R11s Plus, the smartphone comes with 6.43-inch full HD with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels and sports an Amoled display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It comes with a battery of 4000 mAh and is available in 6GB of RAM.
When it comes to the price, Oppo R11s is available for RMB 2,999 (Rs. 29,300 approx) for champagne gold and black models. In case of the red color model, the price goes up to RMB 3,199 which is Rs. 31,300 approximately.
Oppo R11s Plus is priced at RMB 3,699 for the black and champagne gold colour which amounts to Rs. 31,300 approximately.
Oppo R11s will be available for sale from November 10 in China while Oppo R11s Plus will go on sale from November 24. As of now, it is yet not clear if the Chinese smartphone maker will launch the new phones in India.
