Oppo R17 Pro on sale for the first time in India, all you need to know

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo launched its latest flagship Oppo R17 in India earlier this week. The smartphone is now up for sale across the country. Oppo R17 Pro price in India has been set at Rs 45,990. The smartphone is available for buyers on Amazon India, Flipkart and Paytm mall. Key specifications of the smartphone are its triple rear camera set up and an edge-to-edge massive 6.4-inch full-HD+ display. The smartphone comes with Super VOOC Flash Charge fast charging technology.

Oppo R17: Launch offers

Buyers can avail 10 per cent cashback using HDFC Bank debit cards, credit cards, and EMI transactions. Reliance Jio users can get up to 3.2TB of Jio 4G data and cashback of up to Rs 4,900. A Paytm Mall cashback of Rs. 3,000 can also be availed in select stores and on Paytm Mall online.     

Oppo R17 specifications

Oppo R17 Pro comes with a larger display of 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display with a waterdrop-style notch, Corning Gorilla Glass 6, and a 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. 

Oppo R17 Pro is equipped with 128GB inbuilt storage option, expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB) and 8GB of RAM. The smartphone will ship with Colour OS 5.2, based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

The device will be offered in Mist and Green colour options. Oppo R17 Pro is fuelled by a 3,700mAh battery with Super VOOC fast charging technology which is said to charge the phone up to 40 per cent in 10 minutes.  Connectivity options on the Oppo R17 Pro include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (dual-band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C (v3.1) with OTG functionality, and NFC.

On the camera front, the device has a triple rear camera setup, with a 12-megapixel sensor featuring a variable aperture from f/1.5 to f/2.4 and a 1.4-micron pixel size, a 20-megapixel sensor with an f/2.6 aperture, and a third lens that is a TOF 3D stereo camera that assists in depth effects. 

For selfies, Oppo R17 Pro has a 25-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone packs a powerful Snapdragon 710 processor.
