A new game which made its debut in the world of online battle royale games recently is Apex Legends which is receiving huge response in the gaming community. The game was launched last week and within just three days, it crossed 10 million players since release which is why it may be a point of concern for PUBG and Fortnite. In just one week, the count touched the mark of 25 million players for Apex Legends which clearly shows how the game has become widely popular among the games in just short period of time.
Vince Zampella, CEO, Respawn Entertainment said, ‘’We’re also thrilled to announce that since last Monday, more than 25 million players have jumped into the game, and over the weekend we had well over 2 million concurrent players at our peak. Like I said earlier, what a week.
The gaming company also confirmed that later this week, there will be Valentine’s Day celebrations where some limited-time Valentine’s Day themed loot to the game.

Currently, Apex Legends is available on PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox One consoles and PCs as well. But it is currently not available on smartphone (both iOS and Android) unlike its rival games PUBG and Fortnite.
As per some reports, Apex Legends may soon add two more modes to play the game, solo mode and the duo mode. A tweet by ApexUpdate, which is unofficial handle on the social media that post all the latest news and leaks about the Apex Legends wrote, “Solo & Duo game modes found in the game files! No information about when they will be released but we may see them very soon.
But the gaming company will soon be looking to launch the solo and duo variant as its rival games already has the said modes.
As per a research firm Statista and PUBG is played by more than 20 million daily gamers which was last reported in September 2018. It will be interesting to see whether Apex Legends be able to outshine PUBG and Fortnite or failed to impress the gamers in long run.
