The makers of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or popularly known PUBG has suspended 30,000 accounts for using Radar hack cheat codes on their battle royale game. As per a latest report, Tencent Games has applied some anti-cheating measures using Battleeye software. The players of all medium including mobile, Xbox, PlayStation and PC will be affected after this measure. Even, some of the professional players are affected, who were using Radar hacking to get an upper hand in the game are targeted. As per a report by PCGamesN, over 16 professional players’ account were also suspended in this ban-wave. 

How does it work?

With the help of Radar hacking, a player can get detail of other players in the game area means the exact location of other players via second screen, making it easy for them to locate and kill their opponents. The new anti-cheating measure has been taken along with the latest Vikendi update.

As per a report, some of the professional players who have been banned with his anti-hack measure includes Can Ozdemir also known as TEXQS, Papaya, Cageman, PlayerJones, Hoffmann88, Sezk0, Houlow, Kraqen, and others.

Recently, Tencent Games, the makers of PUBG uploaded a new update which features much-awaited Vikendi snow map which features new style main menu, cross-server matchmaking and winter fashion wear. The size of new update is approximately 1.6 GB and is available for update on both Android and iOS.

The new Vikendi map is a snow-covered map with a 6 km x 6km size land and is larger than Sanhok map and comparatively smaller than Erangel and Miramar maps. However, this map will be available for playing from December 20 for the mobile users.

Meanwhile, the PS4 and Xbox users will have to wait for the new Vikendi map a little longer, till January 2019.

The new update has also come up with Arabic language support and strict rule for those who regularly exit from matches. This new feature will be called ‘cooldown period’ and those who quit the match mid-game will now face a little problem in finding matches and will have to wait longer for their match-making. The players can also report suspicious behaviour in the game while spectating after dying.
