Recently, it was reported that PUBG Mobile has been downloaded more than 400 million times across platforms. Well, the popularity PUBG Mobile is growing day by day. If you have ever played PUBG, you would know that the amount of hackers and cheaters have increased substantially. In a bid to weed out the hackers and cheaters, PUBG Mobile has announced that it has imposed a 10-year ban on players found violating the developer’s gaming standards. Yes, you read it right.
In a post, PUBG Mobile said, “We have always strived to deliver a gaming environment that is fair and enjoyable for each and every player and prevent cheating. We take this issue very seriously; as such, each account in violation has received a 10-year ban. We would like to remind all players about the importance of fair play, and thank you for keeping PUBG MOBILE fair and fun.” The company further said that it also encourages users to report gamers who are suspected of cheating.
It is worth mentioning here that the company’s post also features a list of IDs of gamers who have been slapped with a 10-year ban. Some of the cheats deployed by these users are “cheating with auto-aiming”, “cheating tools”, “virtual tools”, and “modified in-game data”, among others.
Notably, PUBG Mobile constantly publishes list of banned IDs of those found cheating. Back in December last year, the company banned over 30,000 PUBG player accounts for cheating.
