Realme 3i to debut in India on July 15: Expected price, specs inside

Flipkart has recently confirmed that Realme 3i will soon make its way in the Indian market. However, the e-retailer did not indulge in giving further details including specifications of the smartphone.

Earlier, it was reported that Realme will be launching a trimmed down version of the Realme 3 at the Realme X launch event on July 15, 2019. In the meantime, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth hinted that the company will be launching more than one product at the launch event of Realme X in New Delhi.

Tipster Ishan Agarwal on Saturday last week tweeted that Realme will be launching a lite version of the Realme 3 smartphone while confirming the device will indeed be a trimmed down version of the Realme 3. He further said that Realme will launch the new device alongside the Snapdragon 710 powered Realme X.

Now, an updated Flipkart listing has revealed that the Realme 3i will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 processor and 4,230mAh battery. Flipkart further highlights various aspects of the phone including its design, big battery, display and camera. The e-retailer also reveals the front panel design of the phone, which looks exactly like the Realme 3, Realme C2, and Realme 3 Pro with a waterdrop-style notch on top carrying the selfie camera.

Realme 3i: Expected price

The Realme 3i is expected to be priced lower than the Realme 3 smartphone. It is to be noted that Realme 3 was launched back in March with a starting price of Rs 8,999.

Coming to Realme X, the smartphone is equipped with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 91.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also features Gorilla Glass 5 protection and have an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. The dimensions of the handset is 161.2x76.9x9.4mm and it weighs 191 grams.

The Realme X is powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC chipset clocked at 2.2GHz and comes in a total of three variants with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0.

On the optics front, the Realme X packs a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture that is accompanied by a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. Also, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture on the front.

Other features Realme X nclude a USB Type-C port, Dolby Atmos support, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS. On the competition front, the Realme X will be up against Redmi K20 in the Indian market after the launch.
