Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro has been launched in India. The smartphone maker announced the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro at an event in New Delhi on Tuesday along with a brand new pair of Realme Buds 2 earphones. Yes, you read it right. The key features of Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro include Quad camera setup, new crystal designs, Minidrop displays, large batteries and new Snapdragon processors.
Realme 5 & Realme 5 Pro: Price & Sale date
The 3GB of RAM and 32GB variant of Realme 5 costs Rs 9,999. On the other hand, the 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB variants are priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 11,999, respectively. The smartphone will be available in Crystal Blue and Crystal Purple colours.
The 4GB + 64GB variant of Realme 5 Pro costs Rs 13,999. The price of 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB variants of Realme 5 Pro has been set at Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999, respectively. The smartphone will be available in Crystal Green and Sparkling Blue colours.
As far as the launch offers are concerned, Realme 5 Pro buyers will get Jio benefits worth up to Rs 7,000, no-cost EMIs, discounted rates on Flipkart's Complete Mobile Protection, Paytm First membership and up to Rs 2,000 cashback if purchased with Paytm UPI. Interestingly, Realme 5 has the same launch offers.
Both the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro will be available on Flipkart and Realme.com. The first sale for the Realme 5 is on August 27 while the Realme 5 Pro will go on sale for the first time on September 4.

Realme 5 features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ for protection. The smartphone, which has dual-SIM (Nano), runs Color OS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with up to 4GB of RAM.
On the imagining front, Realme 5 sports a quad rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. There is electronic image stabilisation (EIS) tech included as well. On the front, Realme 5 houses a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
Connectivity options on the Realme 5 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, a GPS/ A-GPS, a3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro-USB port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, a magnetometer and a proximity sensor.
Realme 5 comes in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB inbuilt storage options, expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). Realme 5 packs a 5,000mAh. The device has dimensions of 164.4x75.6x9.3mm, and it weighs 198 grams. Also, there is a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. Also, there is an electronic image stabilisation (EIS) tech included. On the front, Realme 5 Pro houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
