Realme 5s will be launched in India on Wednesday, alongside the Realme X2 Pro flagship phone. However, days ahead of the launch, Realme has revealed some key features of the upcoming smartphone. Notably, Realme 5s will have a diamond-cut finish at the back that will sport the Realme branding on top. It is also confirmed that Realme 5s will feature a quad rear camera setup and a 5,000mAh battery. Realme 5s will run on the Snapdragon 665 SoC.
Realme 5s will be launched in India at an event that will begin at 12:30 PM (IST) today in New Delhi. It is expected that Realme 5s might be priced somewhere around Rs 10,000.
Realme 5s: specifications
Realme 5s will come equipped with a diamond-cut finish at the back that will sport the Realme branding on top. Realme 5s will come with a 6.51-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch.
Realme 5s will feature a quad rear camera setup. The primary shooter on the Realme 5s is a 48-megapixel camera, while that on its predecessor is a 12-megapixel shooter. The Realme 5s' 48-megapixel rear camera will most likely rely on pixel binning technology to capture brighter photos at a lower 12-megapixel resolution. On the front, the phone is tipped to feature a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
Moreover, the smartphone maker has confirmed that Realme 5s will pack a 5,000mAh battery. Also, Realme has made it official that the Realme 5s will be powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC. So far, Realme 5s has been teased in a single red colour option.

The new handset configuration is likely to start from 4GB RAM+64GB storage onwards. On the software front, it will also ship with Android 9 Pie OS with ColorOS 6 skin on top.
