Realme 6 Pro, the smartphone under the Chinese company’s 6 series, has recently gone on sale in India via Flipkart, the Realme.com website, and offline retail stores. Realme 6 Pro comes equipped with a hole-punch display design, dual selfie camera setup, quad rear camera setup, and Realme UI based on Android 10, among others. Interestingly, Realme 6 Pro is the first phone in India that supports Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC) which is developed by ISRO. On the competition front in India, Realme 6 Pro is up against Poco X2 and Vivo S1 Pro. Realme 6 Pro

Realme 6 Pro sports a 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) Ultra Smooth display with 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs Realme UI on top. The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 720G SoC, along with Adreno 618 GPU and up to 8GB of LPDDR4x dual-channel RAM. Internal storage it offers up to 128GB that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB).

On the imaging front, Realme 6 Pro comes equipped with a quad rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens. The primary camera is assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter with an f/2.3 aperture, a 12-megapixel telephoto shooter with an f/2.5 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a dual hole-punch selfie camera setup that sports a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens.

Connectivity options on Realme 6 Pro include include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NavIC, and a USB Type-C port. Whereas, sensors offer accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. It also comes with a water-resistant design. The phone further boasts of a superlinear speaker and supports Dolby Atmos as well as Hi-Res Sound Quality features.

The device packs a 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 fast charging technology. Realme 6 Pro measures 163.8x75.8x8.9mm and weigh 202 grams.

The price for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Realme 6 Pro in India has been set at Rs 16,999. On the other hand, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model of Realme 6 Pro costs 17,999 and its 8GB RAM + 128GB variant carries a price tag of Rs 18,999. The smartphone comes in Lightning Blue and Lightning Orange colour options.

Poco X2

Poco X2 sports a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) RealityFlow 120Hz Display with 20:9 aspect ratio. Interestingly, the LCD display panel comes with an “Intelligent Dynamic Refresh Rate” technology. The smartphone runs Android 10 with MIUI 11 Designed for Poco on top. Under the hood, Poco X2 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC, paired with Adreno 618 GPU and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The device offers an internal storage of up to 256GB.

Poco X2 comes with a second-generation Game Turbo mode to boost graphics rendering. Moreover, the device has a LiquidCool technology that is touted to provide 300 per cent faster heat transfer over the models that don't include a liquid cooling system.

On the imaging front, Poco X2 comes equipped with the quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary sensor with an f/1.89 lens and 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens that has a field-of-view (FoV) of 120 degrees. Also, the camera setup houses a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is a dual selfie camera setup that houses a 20-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.

Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and has an IR blaster. The device packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 27W fast charging.

The price for the base 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Poco X2 in India has been set at Rs 15,999, while its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs Rs 16,999. Whereas, the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model carries a price tag of Rs 19,999. The recently-launched smartphone comes in Atlantis Blue, Matrix Purple, and Phoenix Red colour options.

Vivo S1 Pro

Vivo S1 Pro sports a 6.38-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9.2. It is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. The device has 128GB of onboard storage.

On the imaging front, Vivo S1 Pro comes equipped with the quad rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens. Also, the smartphone has two 2-megapixel sensors with f/2.4 lenses. On the front, the smartphone has a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (dual-band), Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C port. Whereas, sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
