Realme 6 Pro, the new smartphone under the Chinese company’s 6 series, has recently gone on sale in India via Flipkart, the Realme.com website, and offline retail stores. The smartphone comes in Lightning Blue and Lightning Orange colour options. However, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has now confirmed that the Realme 6 Pro will soon get a Purple colour variant. Yes, you read it right. Realme 6 Pro comes equipped with a hole-punch display design, dual selfie camera setup, quad rear camera setup, and Realme UI based on Android 10, among others. Interestingly, Realme 6 Pro is the first phone in India that supports Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC) which is developed by ISRO.
It is to be boted that during the latest #AskMadhav episode on YouTube, Sheth confirmed that a Purple variant of the Realme 6 Pro is launching soon in India, and that the company is also working on bringing Realme Bluetooth speakers to the market.
Realme 6 Pro: Price & Sale Offers
The price for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Realme 6 Pro in India has been set at Rs 16,999. On the other hand, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model of Realme 6 Pro costs 17,999 and its 8GB RAM + 128GB variant carries a price tag of Rs 18,999.
As for the sale offers on Realme 6 Pro are concerned, buyers can avail Rs 1,000 instant discount for Axis Bank customers purchasing the smartphone via Flipkart.
It is worth mentioning here that Realme 6 Pro is a successor to Realme 5 Pro.
Realme 6 Pro: Specifications & Features
Realme 6 Pro sports a 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) Ultra Smooth display with 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs Realme UI on top. The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 720G SoC, along with Adreno 618 GPU and up to 8GB of LPDDR4x dual-channel RAM. Internal storage it offers up to 128GB that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB).
On the imaging front, Realme 6 Pro comes equipped with a quad rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens. The primary camera is assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter with an f/2.3 aperture, a 12-megapixel telephoto shooter with an f/2.5 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a dual hole-punch selfie camera setup that sports a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens.
Connectivity options on Realme 6 Pro include include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NavIC, and a USB Type-C port. Whereas, sensors offer accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. It also comes with a water-resistant design. The phone further boasts of a superlinear speaker and supports Dolby Atmos as well as Hi-Res Sound Quality features.

The device packs a 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 fast charging technology. Realme 6 Pro measures 163.8x75.8x8.9mm and weigh 202 grams.
