Realme C2 - an entry-level smartphone with a starting price of Rs 5,999 was launched in India on Monday. The phone was introduced during the Realme 3 Pro launch event in New Delhi. It is to be noted that with C2, Realme has now entered into the budget smartphone brands in India.
The much-awaited phone is powered by a dewdrop display, diamond-cut design, Helio P22 chipset and a large 4,000mAh battery, among others. Realme C2 price starts at Rs 5,999 for the 2GB RAM+16GB Storage variant and goes up to INR 7,999 for the 3GB RAM+32GB Storage model.
The phone consists a 6.1-inch HD+ display with dewdrop notch housing the selfie camera and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. A MediaTek Helio P22 chipset power the phones clocked at 2GHz with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Realme C2 has Android 9.0 Pie-based ColorOS 6.0. Interestingly, Realme C2 is one of the cheapest phones to run on Android Pie.

The dual VoLTE smartphone has a triple card slot that can support two nano SIM cards and a microSD card. Additional microSD card slot allows storage expansion up to 256GB. As far as cameras are concerned, the phone sports a 13MP primary camera along with a 2MP secondary depth camera. On the front, Realme C2 has 5MP AI selfie camera. Another notable aspect about the Realme C2 is its large 4,000mAh battery.
