Realme X2, the recently-launched smartphone, has already gone on sale in India. The key features on the newly-launched smartphone include gaming-focussed Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC, a quad rear camera setup, and a waterdrop-style display notch, among others. In the price range, there are many options including Vivo Z1 Pro and Huawei Y9 Prime 2019. Realme X2
Realme X2 features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display that has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device further has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and supports features such as DC-like dimming and night mode for eye care. Also, there is an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1 on top. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC, paired with Adreno 618 GPU and up to 8GB of RAM.
On the imaging front, Realme X2 comes equipped with the quad rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.25 super-wide angle lens. The price for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Realme X2 in India has been set at Rs 16,999. While the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration of Realme X2 has been priced at Rs 18,999, the top-end 8GB RAM + 128GB model costs Rs 19,999.
Vivo Z1 Pro
Vivo Z1 Pro features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It supports dual-SIM (Nano) connectivity and runs Funtouch OS 9 based on Android Pie. The phone is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 712 SoC, paired with Adreno 616 GPU and up to 6GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the Vivo Z1 Pro offers 64GB and 128GB of onboard storage options.
The new SoC is based on 10nm manufacturing process and includes eight Kryo 360 CPU cores clocked at up to 2.3GHz and Adreno 616 GPU. It also includes Center Turbo, AI Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo, and Game Turbo features with an aim to improve the gaming performance.
The smartphone is housing a 32-megapixel in-display (company speak for hole-punch) selfie camera and triple rear camera setup with LED flash. Vivo Z1 Pro packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging tech.
Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, USB 2.0 with OTG, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Further, there is a fingerprint sensor at the back of the device. The Vivo Z1 Pro weighs 201 grams and measures 162.39x77.33x8.85mm.
The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Vivo Z1 Pro in India costs Rs 13,990. The 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model and the top-end 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option costs Rs 14,990 and Rs 15,990, respectively.
Huawei Y9 Prime 2019
Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is an upgraded variant of the Huawei Y9 that was launched in India in January 2019. Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 features 6.59-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) LCD screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Kirin 710F processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. The upgraded variant of Huawei Y9 runs on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0.
On the imagining front, Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup, which sports a 16-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a third 2-megapixel sensor. Also, there is a 16-megapixel sensor on the front, which is a part of the pop-up selfie camera module.
Other features the phone include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity support, a rear fingerprint sensor, GPS, USB-Type C, and 4G LTE support. Further, it has a 4,000mAh battery. The device measures 1 63.5x77.3x8.8mm and it weighs 196.8 grams. The handset also sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
