Realme XT, India’s first 64-megapixel camera smartphone, is now official. The key features on the smartphone include an in-display fingerprint scanner, a gradient back panel finish, Snapdragon 712 SoC and a 4,000mAh battery. Realme XT
Realme XT sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) Super AMOLED screen with a waterdrop-style notch up front and 550nits brightness. It also features Corning Gorilla Glass 5 at the front and the back.
The smartphone runs on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android Pie. Realme XT is powered powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage.
On the imaging front, Realme XT comes equipped with a quad camera setup at the rear that include 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The smartphone also has an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the smartphone has a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
Realme XT packs a 4,000mAh battery with support 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging. Interestingly, Realme XT has a USB Type-C port at the bottom along with a 3.5mm audio jack and a loudspeaker. Connectivity options on the ohone include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth v5, GPS + GLONASS, and more.
The device measures 158.7x75.16x8.55mm and it weighs 183 grams. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner as well.
The price of 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model of Realme XT in India has been set at Rs 15,999. Whereas, the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Realme XT costs Rs 16,999 while the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option of the smartphone costs Rs 18,999.
Realme XT will go on sale on Flipkart and Realme.com both from 12pm (noon) on September 16. The smartphone will be made available in Pearl Blue and Pearl White colour options.
Redmi Note 8 Pro
Redmi Note 8 Pro features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, waterdrop-style notch and Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back. The dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi Note 8 Pro runs on MIUI 10, based on Android 9 Pie.
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek's new gaming focussed Helio G90T SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The phone comes with liquid cooling support for the enhanced gaming experience.
On the imagining front, Redmi Note 8 Pro sports four cameras the back. It is the first smartphone to have 64-megapixel main camera. The primary sensor is joined by the same camera setup as the Redmi Note 8 – 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter and two 2-megapixel cameras. On the front, it houses 20-megapixel selfie camera.
Redmi Note 8 Pro packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Connectivity options it include NFC, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, IR blaster.
The 6GB of RAM and 64GB variant of Redmi Note 8 Pro costs CNY 1,399 (approx. Rs 14,000). The price of 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB models of Redmi Note 8 Pro has been set at CNY 1,599 (approx. Rs 16,000) and CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs 18,000), respectively.
The smartphone is yet to be launched in India.
