In the meanwhile, several media reports suggest that the prices of e Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro to be similar to the China price. It means the Redmi K20 could be priced between Rs 18,000 - Rs 20,000 in India. The Redmi K20 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to be priced around Rs 25,000.
Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro Specifications
Both Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro will come with 6.39-inch Full HD display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio with no notch present on the screen. The Redmi K20 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 while the Pro variant runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.
The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro will be equipped with triple camera setup at the back with one being a 48 MP Sony IMX586 sensor coupled with 13 MP and 8 MP camera lens. For selfies, the smartphones will have a 20 MP pop out camera with AI technology.
The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro are fuelled by a 4000mAh battery with fast-charging technology. In the meantime, Weibing has claimed that these phones can be charge 58 % in just 30 minutes and complete charge in 74 minutes. Interestingly, these handsets also can be a good option as it has Game Turbo 2.0 for gaming purposes.
In the Indian market, Redmi K20 is likely to be up against Realme X that is set to launch in India on July 15.
Xiaomi has recently launched the Redmi 7A, successor to the Redmi 6A, in India for starting price of Rs 5,999 for the base model with 2GB RAM/16GB storage. There's also a 2GB RAM/32GB storage model that comes for Rs 6,199. The Redmi 7A goes on sale in India on July 11.
