After a series of teasers, Xiaomi on Wednesday finally launched its flagship smartphone Redmi K20. The key highlights of the Redmi K20 include a full-HD+ AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC, triple rear cameras with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, and a 4,000mAh battery. In the Rs 25,000 budget, the smartphone will definitely attract a large number of customers in India. The smartphone will go up against the Realme X and Vivo Z1 Pro in the Indian market.

Redmi K20

Redmi K20 comes with a 6.39-inch Full HD display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio with no notch present on the screen. The Redmi K20 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 while the Pro variant runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.

The Redmi K20 is equipped with triple camera setup at the back with one being a 48 MP Sony IMX586 sensor coupled with 13 MP and 8 MP camera lens. For selfies, the smartphones will have a 20 MP pop out camera with AI technology.

The Redmi K20 is fuelled by a 4000mAh battery with fast-charging technology.

The Redmi K20 price in India is set at Rs 21,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, while it’s 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 23,999.

The smartphone comes in Carbon Black, Flame Red, and Glacier Blue colour options.

Realme X

The Realme X is equipped with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 91.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also features Gorilla Glass 5 protection and have an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. The dimensions of the handset is 161.2x76.9x9.4mm and it weighs 191 grams.

The Realme X is powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC chipset clocked at 2.2GHz and comes in a total of three variants with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0.

Coming to the optics, the Realme X packs a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture that is accompanied by a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. Also, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture on the front.

Other features Realme X nclude a USB Type-C port, Dolby Atmos support, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS.

The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of Realme X starts at Rs 16,999. The phone's 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model has been priced at Rs 19,999. The device will be available for purchase in Polar White and Space Blue colour options.

Vivo Z1 Pro

Vivo Z1 is offered in three storage variants - 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB, and 6GB + 128GB. The prices for 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants are Rs 16,990 and Rs 17,990 respectively.

The Vivo Z1 Pro is the first smartphone to be powered with octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC in India. The new SoC is based on 10nm manufacturing process and includes eight Kryo 360 CPU cores clocked at up to 2.3GHz and Adreno 616 GPU. 

It also include Center Turbo, AI Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo and Game Turbo features with an aim to improve the gaming performance.

The smartphone will be housing a 32-megapixel in-display (company speak for hole-punch) selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup with LED flash. It will further pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support as well as a rear fingerprint sensor.
