Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched its latest smartphones Redmi Note 7 in China. The Redmi Note 7 is Xiaomi’s first smartphone to sport a dewdrop notch. Key specifications of the smartphone include its dual rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. Other highlights of the Redmi Note 7 include its 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support. The smartphone comes in the mid-range segment and is expected to be priced roughly around Rs 10,000 for the 3GB/32GB variant, about Rs 12,500 for 4GB/64GB variant and about Rs 14,500 for the 6GB/64GB variant in India, according to reports. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the pricing by the company. Xiaomi at the event also officially announced that Redmi is now its sub-brand.

Redmi Note 7 Specifications
Redmi Note 7 comes with a larger 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) LTPS display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 450 nits brightness, 84 percent NTSC colour gamut, Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and 2.5D curved glass protection.
Redmi Note 7 is equipped with 3GB (32 GB storage), 4GB (64 GB storage) and 6 GB RAM (64 GB storage) options. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, which is an octa-core processor fabricated using 14nm process with Kryo 260 cores and Adreno 512 GPU.
The device will be offered in Twilight Gold, Fantasy Blue, and Bright Black colour options. Redmi Note 7 under the hood includes a non-removable Li-Ion 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support which is expected to charge100 percent in around 1 hour 40 minutes.
Connectivity options on the Redmi Note 7 include Bluetooth v5, Micro USB, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C port, 4G VoLTE, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth v5 and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Redmi Note 7 also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
On the camera front, there is a dual rear camera setup with 48-megapixel Samsung GM1 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and another 5-megapixel sensor. At the front, there is a 13-megapixel single shooter for selfies. Redmi Note 7 is equipped with AI features like scene recognition, AI portrait mode and AI beauty mode. The Redmi Note 7 promises good low light performance.
