Xiaomi’s popular smartphone Redmi Note 7S and Redmi Note 7 Pro has been introduced in Astro White colour variants in India. Yes, you read it right. Notably, Xiaomi on Tuesday released a video teaser wherein all things white were being showcased, and soon after announced the Astro White colour model for its Redmi Note 7 series.
It is worth mentioning here that the Astro White colour model was launched in China last month by a different name, and now it has arrived in India as well. The Astro White colour model is similar to Mirror Flower Water Moon colour model.
In a tweet, Xiaomi’s India MD Manu Kumar Jain said, “Amazingly beautiful #AstroWhite variant of #RedmiNote7Pro & #RedmiNote7S. Beautiful. White looks really classy on the glass back (with Gorilla Glass 5). It has a pearl finish that gives different reflection from different angles.”

Xiaomi further announced that the Redmi Note 7S and Redmi Note 7 Pro will be available in Astro White option on Flipkart and Mi.com both. The pre-order for this new model will start from midnight tomorrow.
Apart from this new model, the Redmi Note 7S is available in Onyx Black, Ruby Red, and Sapphire Blue colour options in India, while the Redmi Note 7 Pro can be purchased in Neptune Blue, Nebula Red, and Space Black variants.
Redmi Note 7S: Specifications & Prices
Redmi Note 7S measures 159.2x75.2x8.1mm and it weighs 186 grams. The smartphone features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) Dot Notch Display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It runs Android Pie with MIUI 10 on top. The dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi Note 7S has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, coupled with up to 4GB of RAM.
On the imagining front, Redmi Note 7S comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup that consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor along with an f/1.8 lens and a 5-megapixel secondary shooter. On the front, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel sensor at the front.
Redmi Note 7S has 32GB and 64GB of onboard storage options that both are expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). Redmi Note 7S packs a 4,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on the Redmi Note 7S include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, distance sensor, electronic compass, fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor.
Redmi Note 7S price in India starts at Rs 10,999 for the 3GB/ 32GB variant, and goes up to Rs 12,999 for the 4GB/ 64GB model.

Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a larger 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) LTPS display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It also has a 2.5D curved glass protection. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB.
In terms of optics, Redmi Note 7 Pro has a 48-megapixel Samsung GM1 sensor that sits on the dual rear camera setup, along with an f/1.8 aperture and another 5-megapixel sensor. On the front, there is a 13-megapixel selfie camera with several AI features like face unlock, smart beauty.
The Redmi Note 7 packs a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support. Connectivity options on the Redmi Note 7 Pro include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Redmi Note 7 Pro is priced in India starting at Rs 13,999 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The smartphone also has the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage option at Rs 15,999 and the top-of-the-line 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model at Rs 16,999.
Both the smartphones are available via Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores.
