Redmi Note 8 Pro has now come up in India with an additional colour i.e. Electric Blue colour. Yes, you read it right. Xiaomi on Thursday launched Redmi Note 8 Pro a new colour variant of the Redmi Note 8 Pro in India that flaunts an electric blue gradient design on its glossy rear panel. Interestingly, the Electric Blue colour variant of Redmi Note 8 Pro has already gone on sale in India. The key features on Redmi Note 8 Pro include a quad rear camera setup that houses 64-megapixel primary sensor, octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T, and a 4,500mAh battery, among others.

The price for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Redmi Note 8 Pro in India has been set at Rs 14,999. While its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option costs Rs 15,999, the top-of-the-line 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model carries a price tag of Rs 17,999. Sale offers include double data on Airtel Rs 249 and Rs 349 recharges for 10 months.
Apart from Electric Blue colour, the smartphone is available in Gamma Green, Halo White, and Shadow Black colour options. It is worth mentioning here that the Electric Blue colour variant appears to be identical to the Deep Sea Blue colour variant launched in Taiwan recently, and the Ocean Blue colour variant teased by the company handle.
Redmi Note 8 Pro: Specifications
Redmi Note 8 Pro sports a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, waterdrop-style notch and Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back. The dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi Note 8 Pro runs on MIUI 10, based on Android 9 Pie.
The smartphone is powered by Helio G90T SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The phone comes with liquid cooling support for the enhanced gaming experience. There are also features such as the Game Turbo 2.0 mode to please mobile gamers.
On the imaging front, Redmi Note 8 Pro sports four cameras the back. It is the first smartphone to have a 64-megapixel main camera. The primary sensor is joined by the 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter and two 2-megapixel cameras. On the front, the smartphone houses 20-megapixel selfie camera.
Connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, IR blaster, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There are sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a magnetometer. The smartphone also comes with an rear-facing fingerprint sensor.
