Xiaomi is all set to launch Redmi Y3 in the Indian market on April 24, as confirmed by the Chinese manufacturer. The company took to Twitter to share the launch date of the smartphone and also revealed the main attraction of the handset which is its 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Xiaomi is all set to launch Redmi Y3 in the Indian market on April 24, as confirmed by the Chinese manufacturer. The company took to Twitter to share the launch date of the smartphone and also revealed the main attraction of the handset which is its 32-megapixel selfie camera.

As per some reports, it is expected that the Redmi Y3 will sport Samsung's 32-megapixel ISOCELL Bright GD1 image sensor which was announced in October last year.

The Redmi Y3 is expected to support dual rear camera lens of 12 MP + 2 MP and 32-megapixel camera lens in the front. The handset is expected to be powered with a Snapdragon 632 SoC processor.

The smartphone is expected to come with Full HD display and MIUI 10 based software. However, the exact specifications of the handset will be revealed on the launch date only.

Xiaomi recently revealed that they have successfully launched its popular and latest release Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro in the Indian market.

The 6GB RAM variant of Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch IPS Full HD display with 1080x2340 pixels resolution and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. It also features a drop dot like notch on the top of the display.

On optics front, AI based dual camera setup at the back with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 as primary camera and a 5-megapixel camera lens as secondary. For selfies, it boasts a 13-megapixel for capturing clear and high-resolution images.
