Indians pay on an average Rs 18 for one gigabyte (GB) of data against a global average of Rs 600, showed the research by price comparison site Cable.co.uk. However, Indians must thank to Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio which actually started a sort of war in mobile data price. Yes, you read it right. Arrival of Reliance Jio in Indian market forced its competitors, including Airtel and Vodafone to come up with cheaper offers.

If you are a prepaid user then there is a piece of good news for you as we have shortlisted a list of the best yearly prepaid plans offered by Reliance Jio, Airtel, BSNL and Vodafone. These plans are meant to boost the business of telecom operators which will also benefit prepaid users.

Vodafone Rs 1,699 prepaid plan

Recently, Vodafone introduced a yearly tariff plan for pre-paid customers for all of its circles. The plan is being offered to consumers at Rs 1,699 for 365 days. Under this plan, Vodafone is offering its customers unlimited calls and 100 daily complementary SMSes.

Let’s now talk about the data benefits. Vodafone is offering 1GB of 4G/3G data daily. The company is also providing free access to Vodafone Play app that offers digital content like live TV, movies, songs and more.

Airtel Rs 1,699 prepaid plan

Just like Vodafone, Airtel also announced a yearly plan of its own at Rs 1,699, which has a validity of 365 days. Under this plan, pre-paid users are offered 1GB of daily 4G/3G data along with unlimited local + STD calling benefits and 100 daily complimentary SMSes.

The company also provides its customers with complimentary access to all of Airtel’s online content apps including Airtel TV, Wynk Music and more.

BSNL Rs 1,699 prepaid plan

BSNL also provides its customers a yearly tariff plan named as Diwali Mahadhamaka plan at Rs 1,699. The plan offers customers unlimited local and national calling facilities, free national roaming and 100 daily SMSs and comes with a validity of 365 days.

The plan also offers 2GB of daily data 4G/3G/2G data. In addition, BSNL provides customers with free caller tune service with the option of unlimited song changes.  

Reliance Jio Rs 1,699 prepaid plan

How come Reliance Jio lag behind in the race. Jio also offers its customers a long-term validity plan priced at Rs 1,699. The plan, which comes with a validity of 365 days, offers its customers 1.5GB 4G data per day. Along with daily data benefits, Jio also offers unlimited voice calls and 100 daily SMSes.

The company further provides its customers with free access to all of its data-driven apps, which include Jio TV, Jio Money, and more. However, to access this plan, customers are required to have a Jio Prime membership, which costs Rs 99 per year.
