Samsung had last month launched Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30s in India under its Galaxy A-series phones. Barely after one month of launch, the two smartphones have received a price cut by up to Rs 3,000. It is to be noted that Samsung Galaxy A30s has received a price cut of Rs 1,000 in India, whereas the Samsung Galaxy A50s has gotten a price cut of Rs 3,000.
The price for the 4GB RAM base variant of Samsung Galaxy A50s was set at Rs 22,999 while 6GB RAM variant of the phone costed Rs 24,999. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy A30s price was set at Rs 16,999 for the single 4GB + 64GB variant.
After the price cut, the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage option of Samsung Galaxy A50s costs Rs 19,999. Also, the price for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of Samsung Galaxy A50s has been revised to Rs 21,999. Both the variants of Samsung Galaxy A50s have received a price cut of Rs 3000. Samsung Galaxy A30s, on the other hand, is now being offered at a reduced price of Rs 15,999 for the single 4GB + 64GB variant. The new prices are reflecting online, and are reported to have been introduced in offline stores as well.
Samsung Galaxy A50s: Specifications
Samsung Galaxy A50s features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) Infinity-U Super AMOLED display. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) and it runs on Android 9 Pie with One UI on top. Samsung Galaxy A50s is powered by octa-core Exynos 9611 SoC, based on the 10nm manufacturing process. The device packs up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage with a microSD card slot (up to 512GB).
On the imaging front, Samsung Galaxy A50s comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary shooter with f/2.0 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera as well.
Samsung Galaxy A50s packs a 4,000mAh with 15W fast charging support. The device also includes NFC and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Samsung Galaxy A30s: Specifications
Samsung Galaxy A30s sports a 6.4-inch HD+ (720x1560 pixels) Infinity-V Super AMOLED display. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) and it runs on Android 9 Pie with One UI on top. Samsung Galaxy A30s is powered by octa-core Exynos 7904 SoC with two Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and six Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.6GHz. It has a 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, and a microSD card slot (up to 512GB).
As far as the optics on the smartphone are concerned, Samsung Galaxy A30s comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 25-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, Samsung Galaxy A30s has a 16-megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera.
