The 5G variant of Samsung Galaxy A51 has gone official in the US. The key features on Samsung Galaxy A51 5G include Super AMOLED full-HD+ Infinity-O Display, quad-rear camera setup, 4,500mAh battery, and an in-display fingerprint sensor, among others. It is to be noted that the LTE variant of Samsung Galaxy A51 was launched in India a few months ago. With the phone, Samsung is aiming to bring 5G to the mid-range smartphone segment, enabling its customers to switch to the faster network speeds.
The price for Samsung Galaxy A51 5G in the US has been set at $499.99 (approx. Rs 38,100). The smartphone will go on sale in the US in the summer 2020. Samsung Galaxy A51 5G will be made available in Prism Cube Black, Prism Cube White, and Prism Cube Pink colour options.
Samsung Galaxy A51 5G sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) Infinity-O Display. It also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor. According to a report of NDTV’s Gadgets 360, the device is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor (Dual 2.2GHz + Hexa 1.8GHz).
On the imaging front, Samsung Galaxy A51 5G comes equipped with the quad-rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens. The primary camera is assisted by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.0 aperture, a 5-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.2 lens. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 lens.
Samsung Galaxy A51 5G packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. Samsung Galaxy A51 5G offers up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The model’s storage can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.
