Samsung Galaxy A70s, which is the company's first smartphone with a 64-megapixel primary camera, has marked its global debut in India on Friday. The key features on Samsung Galaxy A70s include Infinity-U display, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, triple rear camera setup, 32-megapixel selfie camera, 4,500mAh battery, and an in-display fingerprint sensor, among others. In the Indian market, Samsung Galaxy A70s is up against Vivo V17 Pro. Samsung Galaxy A70s 

Samsung Galaxy A70s sports a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and it runs on Android 9 Pie with One UI on top. 

Samsung Galaxy A70s is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC and it is paired with up to or 8GB of RAM. Additionally, the smartphone gets 128GB of onboard storage which can be expanded up to 512GB by a microSD card slot. 

On the imaging front, Samsung Galaxy A70s comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel f/1.8 primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 5-megapixel camera. Also, there is a 32-megapixel f/2.0 selfie shooter on the front. 

The device packs a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging. Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy A70s comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. 

The price for the base 6GB + 128GB variant of Samsung Galaxy A70s has been set at Rs 28,999. On the other hand, the 8GB + 128GB model of Samsung Galaxy A70s costs Rs 30,999. 

The smartphone is offered in Prism Crush Red, Prism Crush Black, and Prism Crush White colours. It is already available for sale via major e-retailers, major brick-and-mortar stores, Samsung Opera House, and Samsung online store.  

Vivo V17 Pro 

Vivo V17 Pro features a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) Ultra FullView Super AMOLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio, 91.65 per cent screen-to-body ratio and up to 600 nits of peak brightness. 

The smartphone supports dual-SIM technology and it runs Funtouch OS 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie. Under the hood, Vivo V17 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. 

On the imaging front, Vivo V17 Pro comes equipped with the quad rear cameras that houses a 48-megapixel shooter with the Sony IMX582 sensor and f/1.8 aperture. The primary camera is assisted by a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with an f/2.5 aperture, 2x optical zoom and 10x hybrid zoom support. Also, there is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture and 120-degree field of view, accompanied by a 2-megapixel bokeh camera with an f/2.2 aperture. 

The smartphone sports a dual-camera pop-up selfie module on the front. The front camera houses a 32-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture accompanied by an 8-megapixel super-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and 105-degree field of view. The smartphone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. 

Connectivity options on the newly-launched Vivo smartphone include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS and Beidu. 

It packs a 4,100mAh battery that supports the company's proprietary 18W Dual-Engine fast charging technology. The device measures 159 x 74.70 x 9.8 mm and it weighs 201.8 grams. 

The price for the lone 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant of Vivo V17 Pro has been set at Rs 29,990. The smartphone is available in Midnight Ocean and Glacier Ice colour options. It is already available for sale.
