Samsung Galaxy A71, the successor of the Galaxy A70, was launched in India on Wednesday. The key features on the newly-launched smartphone include Infinity-O Display, quad rear camera setup, and 6.7-inch full-HD+ display, among others. In India, Samsung Galaxy A71 competes against the likes of Vivo V17 Pro, Oppo Reno, Redmi K20 Pro, and OnePlus 7.

The price for the lone 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of Samsung Galaxy A71 in India has been set at Rs 29,999. Samsung Galaxy A71 comes in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Silver, and Prism Crush Blue colour variants. It will go on sale starting February 24 via Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com, and leading online portals.

Samsung Galaxy A71 sports a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 octa-core SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone has 128GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB).
On the imaging front, Samsung Galaxy A71 comes equipped with a quad rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens. The primary camera is assisted by a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.2 lens, and a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera along with an f/2.2 lens.
