Samsung Galaxy M31, the successor of Galaxy M30 and the upgrade Galaxy M30s, has been launched in India. The key features on the newly-launched Samsung’s smartphone include quad-rear camera setup, waterdrop-style display notch, and 6,000mAh battery, among others. Samsung Galaxy M31 also comes preloaded with the latest One UI experience.
The price for 64GB storage option of Samsung Galaxy M31 in India has been set at Rs 14,999. On the other hand, the 128GB storage model of Samsung Galaxy M31 costs Rs 15,999. The smartphone comes Ocean Blue and Space Black colour options. Samsung Galaxy M31 will go on sale in India starting 12 PM IST on March 5.
Samsung Galaxy M31 sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) Infinity-U Display -- backed by a Super AMOLED panel and has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM. It offers an internal storage of up to 128GB that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 512GB).
On the imaging front, Samsung Galaxy M31 comes equipped with a quad rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel primary Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor along with an f/1.8 lens. The primary camera is assisted by an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro shooter that has an f/2.4 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth camera with an f/2.2 aperture. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Connectivity options on Samsung Galaxy M31 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone further has a fingerprint sensor at the back. The device packs a 6,000mAh battery which is supported by 15W fast charging that is available through the bundled charger.
