Samsung launched world’s biggest curved QLED monitor in India after recently launching first curved gaming monitor earlier this year in the country.
The QLED monitor, which is 49-inch ultra-wide, named CHG90, has been specifically designed for businesses. However, the monitor’s features will satisfy hardcore gamers too. The curved screen comes at Rs 1, 50,000 and will be available from Samsung shop in the start.
According to Samsung, the monitor boasts of a leading 1800 radius of curvature with a fast response time of 1 ms and 144hz refresh rate for a blur-free experience. Powered by the company’s in-house Quantum Dot technology, the monitor also holds a VA panel to prevent light leakage and flexible ergonomics.
The design of the monitor is done is a way which will seemingly work with Samsung’s Dex. According to Samsung, Dex offers a ‘unique solution that transforms Samsung’s high-end Galaxy S8/S8+ and Note 8 into a desktop by providing a secure desktop-like experience’.
The company’s new curved monitor also supports an app called Easy Setting Box S/W on the desktop that can carry out multitasking by partitioning the screen into various sizes and functional configurations.
The monitor uses Flicker Free technology to assist in light comfort. In addition, it also comes with an Eye Saver Mode which filters blue light wavelengths out and reduces eye-fatigue.
