Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar unveiled the Smartron's srt.phone in India. Sachin is a strategic investor in the homegrown company and also serve as the brand ambassador.
Smartron launched the lower mid-range srt.phone in India starting at Rs 12,999 for the base 32GB model. The 64 gig model of the srt.phone, has meanwhile, been priced at Rs 13,999. Both the versions will be exclusively available for buying from Flipkart.
Design and Display
The phone comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor clubbed with 4GB of RAM. The dual-SIM phone runs Android Nougat software and an unmodified stock version of it, at that.

Camera and battery
The srt.phone comes with a 13-megapixel camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and supports fast charging. It supports 4G LTE and USB Type-C for charging and data syncing.
Additional perks
Smartron will be offering a free back-cover, one year of t.care warranty and an additional Rs 1,500 off on exchange of an older phone with srt.phone, it announced.
