Sony on Friday launched a new wireless earphones globally called as ‘Sony WF-1000XM3’ at a price of GBP 220 (approx. Rs 19,000). It is to be noted that the Sony WF-1000XM3 earphones will go on sale across various markets in mid-August. The key features of all-new wireless earphones include noise cancellation, long battery life and many more.

The move comes almost a month after the launch of wireless subwoofer called Sony HT-S350 which is priced at Rs 17,990. More recently, Sony had launched two portable speakers in the Extra Bass category - SRS-XB22 and SRS-XB32 in India at Rs 7,490 and 10,990, respectively.

Coming back to the newly announced Sony WF-1000XM3, the earphones house 6mm dynamic drivers and it has 20-20,000Hz of frequency response range. The new earphones also can be used for hands-free calling. It also offers Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.

Sony’s truly wireless earphones can be used for hands-free calling. Moreover, it offers Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. You can also customize settings via the company’s Headphones Connect app. This app is compatible with both iOS and Android platforms. Sony is selling the wireless earphones in black and platinum silver colour options.

It is built around company’s proprietary QN1e noise cancelling chip. The wireless earphones promise to deliver up to 32-hours of battery life when using Bluetooth. Also, Sony claims that you can get six hours of battery life on a single charge with active noise cancellation switched on. With noise cancelling off, you will be able to use it for about eight hours.

Also, a quick charge function will give you 90 minutes mileage out of a snappy 10 minute charge too.
