The International Consumer Electronics Show 2018 has witnessed the launch of many upbeat tech gadgets on its very first day. the show started on January 9 and will continue till January 12.
Multinational telecommunication company Sony Mobiles unveiled three new smartphones on the first day of the CES in Las Vegas. The newly unveiled smartphones are Sony Xperia XA2, Xperia XA2 Ultra and Xperia L2.
The Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra are the successors of last year’s launches Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra, while the Xperia L2 is a budget phone with 3 GB RAM and 5.5-inch display.
Both the Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra come with the traditional 16:9 pixel-ratio display and a bezel-less screen. All three smartphones have one major change in them, the finger print sensor of these have been shifted to the rear end, right under the camera lens, unlike the previous ones in which the finger print was on the side-mounted power button.

With MediaTek processors, the XA2 and XA2 Ultra are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset. The XA2 comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory while the XA2 Ultra comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory. Storage expansion can be done via microSD card for both the phones.
The much-needed upgradation of batteries has been included in the new sets. The XA2 and XA2 Ultra come with 3,300mAH and 3,580mAH battery size respectively. XA2 comes with a 5.2-inch FullHD display while the XA2 Ultra comes with a much bigger 6-inch FullHD display.
On the camera front, both the XA2 and XA2 Ultra come with a 23-mp primary camera lens. The rear camera of the XA2 possesses a single 8-mp camera lens while the XA2 Ultra possesses dual camera with 8-mp lens and 16-mp lens respectively.
Sony’s budget smartphone, Xperia L2 comes with 5.5-inch HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, 3 GB Ram, 32 GB internal expandable memory and 3,300mAH battery. On the camera front, the L2 possesses 8-mp front camera lens and 13-mp rear camera lens.
