September was high on smartphone launches. Many smartphones have done well as expected by the companies, but surely did generate a lot of hype. Dozens of smartphones announced in September embraced the display cut-out in one form or another - wide, deep and waterdrop. Smartphones launched had immersive viewing experience and came with an aspect ratio close to 19:5. So, as we look forward to the month of October, here's a look back at the top five smartphones launched in September.

Samsung Galaxy A7
Price: Rs 23,990
Samsung Galaxy A7 sported a 24MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and autofocus along with a depth-sensing 5MP secondary camera with a fixed focal length and f/2.2 aperture. The third camera has an ultra-wide lens with a field-of-view of 120° and f/2.4 aperture. On front, there is a 24MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
It had a 6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity type with Full HD+ screen resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio, with thin but full bezels ditching the notch trend. The body comprises of a curved glass on both the front and rear side.
Motorola One Power
Price: Rs 15,999
Motorola One Power has a 6.2-inch full HD+ (2,246 x 1,080) Max Vision notch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio.
The smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC processor paired with Adreno 509 GPU. The phone packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB native storage which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
Motorola One Power has a dual camera set up at the back having a 16MP primary sensor and a 5MP. Up front, it has an 8MP camera for selfies.
Vivo V11 Pro
Price: Rs 25,990
Vivo V11 Pro carried a 6.41-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) Halo FullView 3.0 Super AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.27 percent.
The smartphone is powered by Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, coupled with an AI engine, an Adreno 512 GPU.
Moto G6 Plus
Price: Rs 22,499
Moto G6 Plus carries a 5.93-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixel) resolution and has a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor, with Adreno 508 GPU.
It sports a 12-megapixel primary sensor featuring 78-degree lens and f/1.7 aperture, and a secondary camera with 5-megapixel sensor having 79-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture. For selfies there is an 8-megapixel camera with 80-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture. The phone has dual-tone, dual-lens LED flash on the back, and a selfie flash in front.

Honor 7S
Price: Rs 6,999
Honor 7S comes with a 19:9 FullView display and 13-megapixel rear camera. The phone sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display with 720x1440 pixels resolution.
Honor 7S is powered by MediaTek’s MT6739 processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The internal storage can be expanded up to 256 GB via micro SD card. The smartphone is fuelled by a 3020mAh battery.
