The month of October brings a season of festivals in India. Most people consider Diwali to buy things ranging from smartphones to shoes and Laptops to portable chargers as companies offer massive discounts on the festival.

When it comes to smartphones, the month of festivals sees a number of new launches and massive discount and offers deal.

From Google to Nokia and Moto to Xiaomi, all handset makers indulge in a competition of ‘who provides better and cheap’. We have brought you a list of top smartphone that can be expected to land in the country in the month of October.

Google Pixel 2 / Google Pixel 2 XL

One of the most awaited phones of the year, Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL will see the light of day on October 4. The Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL is also a strong contender of “best Android smartphones of the year".

The phone is expected to come with a power of Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB RAM and two storage options of 64GB and 128GB.

Nokia 8

The phone has already been launched in India and will be available by October 16th online on Amazon and select offline stores.

Priced at Rs 36,999, the Android Nougat handset is powered by a 2.35GHz Snapdragon 835 processor and 4 GB RAM.

The Nokia 8 comes with a 5.3-inch Quad HD resolution display and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Moto X4

The Moto X4 was earlier expected to launch on October 3rd but delayed due to unknown reasons. However, it shall be available before Diwali.

The Moto X4 handset comes with the dual rear camera (12MP+8MP) and 16 MP front camera equipped with a front LED flashlight.

The 5.2-inch full HD AMOLED display handset is powered by 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630.

The smartphone comes with Android 7.1 Nougat and will be available in two variants, 3GB RAM / 32GB storage and 4GB RAM / 64GB storage.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2

After its launch in an event in Beijing, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is expected to reach India anytime soon in October. The handset is powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC with 6 GB RAM and runs MIUI on Android Nougat.

The Smartphone comes with 5 MP camera on the front and 12 MP on the back panel. The prices of the handset in India is not known yet but starts from Rs 33,000 in China.

Huawei Honor 9

In the race of smartphones, another Chinese handset maker Huawei is trying to capture the minds of Indian buyers by launching a country-specific handset Honor 9.

The smartphone maker has launched a 'See Yourself With Two Eyes' contest which hints at the dual rear camera. The smartphone will be launched on October 5 in India.

The handset is powered by Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset and runs Android 7.0 Nougat with Emotion UI 5.1 skin on top.

The smartphone gives its buyers three storage options 4GB RAM+ 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM + 64GB/128GB. The phone has a 3200mAh battery with fast charging support.
