You all must be well aware that Vivo S1 will be launched in India on August 7. It is worth mentioning here that Vivo Y7s was launched in Indonesia as Vivo Y7s earlier this month. The smartphone comes equipped with a full-HD+ Super AMOLED display and carries a triple rear camera setup. The Vivo Y7s or you can call it as Vivo S1 houses an octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 SoC, 128GB of onboard storage and a 4,500mAh battery.
Unfortunately, the prices of Vivo S1 has been leaked. Yes, you read it right. GSMArena quoted an industry insider saying that the 4GB RAM, plus 128GB storage variant of the Vivo S1 will retail at the price of Rs 17,990 in the Indian market. The source also claimed that there be two more options i.e. 6GB plus 128GB will cost Rs 19,990 and 8GB plus 128GB will be priced at Rs 24,990.
Vivo S1: Specifications
The global variant of the Vivo S1 (Vivo Y7s) features a 6.38-inch full-HD + Super AMOLED display along with a waterdrop-style display notch. It runs Funtouch OS 9 based on Android Pie and has the octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. The phone comes in Cosmic Green and Skyline Blue colour options.
On the imagining front, the smartphone comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 16-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.78 lens. The setup also includes an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. On the front, there is the 32-megapixel selfie camera that comes with an f/2.0 lens.
The device has 128GB of onboard storage. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB with USB OTG support. The phone packs a 4,500mAh battery. It measures 159.53x75.23x8.13mm.
