Vivo S1 Pro has recently gone on sale in India through all major offline and online stores including the Vivo India online store, Amazon, and Flipkart. The new Vivo phone is the newest model in the company's S series that was introduced last year for offline customers. The key features on the newly-launched smartphone include a waterdrop-style display notch, a 48-megapixel primary sensor, and a 4,500mAh battery, among others. On the competition front in India, Vivo S1 Pro is up against Realme X2 and Redmi Note 8 Pro. Vivo S1 Pro

Vivo S1 Pro sports a 6.38-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9.2. It is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. The device has 128GB of onboard storage.

On the imaging front, Vivo S1 Pro comes equipped with the quad rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens. Also, the smartphone has two 2-megapixel sensors with f/2.4 lenses. On the front, the smartphone has a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (dual-band), Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C port. Whereas, sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Realme X2

Realme X2 features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display that has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device further has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and supports features such as DC-like dimming and night mode for eye care. Also, there is an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1 on top. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC, paired with Adreno 618 GPU and up to 8GB of RAM.

On the imaging front, Realme X2 comes equipped with the quad rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.25 super-wide angle lens. The camera setup also has a 2-megapixel macro shooter with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Realme X2 has 64GB and 128GB of UFS2.1 storage options which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB). Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard include accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor.

It packs a 4,000mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge technology. The smartphone measures 158.7x75.2x8.6mm and weigh 182 grams.

The price for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Realme X2 in India has been set at Rs 16,999. While the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration of Realme X2 has been priced at Rs 18,999, the top-end 8GB RAM + 128GB model costs Rs 19,999.

Redmi Note 8 Pro

Redmi Note 8 Pro sports a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, waterdrop-style notch and Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back. The dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi Note 8 Pro runs on MIUI 10, based on Android 9 Pie.

The smartphone is powered by Helio G90T SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The phone comes with liquid cooling support for the enhanced gaming experience. There are also features such as the Game Turbo 2.0 mode to please mobile gamers.

On the imaging front, Redmi Note 8 Pro sports four cameras the back. It is the first smartphone to have a 64-megapixel main camera. The primary sensor is joined by the 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter and two 2-megapixel cameras. On the front, the smartphone houses a 20-megapixel selfie camera.

Connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, IR blaster, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There are sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a magnetometer. The smartphone also comes witaan rear-facing fingerprint sensor. Redmi Note 8 Pro packs a 4,500mAh battery with support of 18W fast charging. The phone measures 161.7x76.4x8.81mm and weigh 200 grams.

The price for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Redmi Note 8 Pro in India has been set at Rs 14,999. While its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option costs Rs 15,999, the top-of-the-line 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model carries a price tag of Rs 17,999.
