Vivo S6 Launched In China Amid Coronavirus Outbreak: Specifications, Features, Price Inside

Vivo S6 has gone official in China amid the novel coronavirus breakout. The key features on Vivo S6 include quad-camera setup, Exynos processor, and a large 4,500mAh battery, among others. The newly launched Vivo smartphone also comes equipped with CPU Turbo, AI Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo, Game Turbo, and ART++ Turbo.

Vivo S6: Price & Availability

The price for the 8GB + 128GB storage variant of Vivo S6 in China has been set at CNY 2,698 (approx. Rs 28,700). On the other hand, the 8GB + 256GB storage variant of Vivo S6 costs at CNY 2,998 (approx. Rs 31,900). Vivo S6 will go on sale in China starting April 3 via the company's official site, JD.com, and other leading online retail websites. The smartphone will be made available in Swan Lake, Danube, and Jazz Black options.

Vivo S6: Specifications & Features

Vivo S6 sports a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.1 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 408ppi pixel density. The smartphone comes has a dual-SIM (Nano) support and runs Android 10 with FunTouch OS 10 running on top. Under the hood, Vivo S6 is powered by the .26GHz Exynos 980 octa-core processor. It is mated to an 8GB RAM. The phone offers an internal storage of up to 256GB.

On the imaging front, Vivo S6 comes equipped with the quad-rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel main camera with f/1.79 aperture. The primary camera is assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle shooter with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 lens. On the front, there is a single 32-megapiel selfie camera with an f/2.08 aperture.

The device packs a 4,500mah battery which has 18W fast charging support. Connectivity options on the phone include 5G support, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v5.1, and more. Also, there is a fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock. Vivo S6 measures at 161.16x74.66x8.68mm and weighs 181 grams.
