Vivo V17 Neo has gone official in Russia. The smartphone will be launched in India on August 7 but as Vivo S1. It is to be noted that the same phone was launched in China as Vivo Y7s and Vivo S1 in Indonesia a couple of months ago. The key highlights of Vivo V17 Neo are triple rear cameras, massive battery, water-drop notch display and gradient design.
Vivo V17 Neo costs RUB 19,990 (approx. Rs 21,600) in Russia. Vivo S1, the rebranded version of Vivo V17 Neo, is expected to have a price tag under Rs 20,000. It is also said that Vivo S1 will carry same features as Vivo V17 Neo.
Coming to the specifications and features of the Vivo V17 Neo, the smartphone features a 6.38-inch S-AMOLED display that offers 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by 12nm MediaTek Helio P65 octa-core chipset that comes paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Under the hood, the Vivo V17 Neo runs Android 9 Pie OS with the latest version of FunTouch OS UI on top.
On the imagining front, the smartphone comes equipped with three cameras on the back and single sensor on the front that sits inside the waterdrop notch. On the rear, Vivo V17 Neo houses a 16-megapixel Sony IMX499 primary sensor, 8-megapixel secondary sensor and third is a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the phone sports a 32-megapixel camera.
It comes packed with a 4500mAh battery that supports 18W dual-engine fast charging. Connectivity features it include 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIM support and Ultra Game Mode. The smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone comes in two colours i.e. Pearl Blue and Brilliant Black. In India, it is expected that the Vivo S1 in more variants.
