Vivo V17, the recently-launched smartphone, will go on sale in India starting December 17 via Amazon, Flipkart, and the official Vivo India e-store. The key features on the smartphone include a hole-punch display design, an L-shaped quad rear camera setup, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, among others. On the competition front in India, Vivo V17 is up against Realme XT. News Nation brings to you the comparison between Vivo V17 and Realme XT on the basis of specifications, features, and price.
Vivo V17 Vivo
V17 features a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) E3 Super AMOLED iView Display that has 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9.2. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM.
On the imaging front, Vivo V17 comes equipped with an L-shaped quad rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel primary sensor that has an f/1.8 lens on top. The rear camera setup further includes 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens, 2-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 lens for bokeh effect, and a 2-megapixel quaternary sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera that is backed by an f/2.45 lens.
Vivo V17 has 128GB of onboard storage. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The device also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It packs a 4,500mAh battery. The smartphone also comes preloaded with features such as a Multi-Turbo mode, Voice Changer, and AR Stickers.
The price for Vivo V17 in India has been set at Rs 22,990 for the lone 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The smartphone comes in Midnight Ocean (Black) and Glacier Ice (White) colour options.
Realme XT
Realme XT sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) Super AMOLED screen with a waterdrop-style notch up front and 550nits brightness. It also features Corning Gorilla Glass 5 at the front and the back. The smartphone runs on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android Pie. Realme XT is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage.
On the imaging front, Realme XT comes equipped with a quad-camera setup at the rear that includes a 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The smartphone also has an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the smartphone has a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
Realme XT packs a 4,000mAh battery with support of 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging. Realme XT has a USB Type-C port at the bottom along with a 3.5mm audio jack and a loudspeaker. Connectivity options on the phone include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth v5, GPS + GLONASS, and more.
The device measures 158.7x75.16x8.55mm and weighs 183 grams. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner as well. The price of 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model of Realme XT in India has been set at Rs 15,999. Whereas, the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Realme XT costs Rs 16,999 while the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option of the smartphone costs Rs 18,999.

Realme XT is available for sale on Flipkart and Realme.com both. The smartphone is available in Pearl Blue and Pearl White colour options.
