Gadget freaks will go crazy this week as Chinese technology company Vivo is all set to add yet another attractive device to its V series soon. The smartphone manufacturer on Tuesday confirmed that the Vivo V9 would be unveiled in India at a launch event on March 23, instead of March 27 previously.
A day ahead of India launch, the mouth-watering device will make its debut in Thailand on March 22. While Vivo India had not revealed the name of this upcoming gadget till date, it has been teasing fans with hints of a few possible features and specifications for days.
Going by the hints, Vivo V9 will have vertically aligned dual rear camera set up and may also sport a full view display with iPhone X-like notch at the top of the screen.
Though Vivo V9 has not yet been launched in any international market, a listing on an Indonesian e-commerce website has revealed its price (Rs 23,700) in the Southeast Asian country.
In terms of specifications, the forthcoming device will have a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 660 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of inbuilt storage, and a dual camera setup with 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors.

Besides that, Vivo V9 is said to get features like 24-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera, Face Unlock, fast charging support, and fingerprint sensor. The handset is also expected to run FunTouch 4.0 OS on top of Android 8.0 Oreo. Speculations had been also rife that Vivo's new phone will come with FIFA World Cup 2018 branding.
