Vivo, the Chinese smartphone-maker, is all set to launch a new series in India and it's none other than the Z series. The very first smartphone under the Z series will the Vivo Z1 Pro. Yes, you read it right. The launch of the Vivo Z1 Pro is yet to be known, however, it is being speculated that the phone will go official later this year. In the meantime, the Vivo has announced the key specifications of the Z1 Pro and further confirmed that the smartphone will be sold via Flipkart after it is officially launched.
According to the Vivo, the Z1 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 700 series processor. Further the company confirmed that the smartphone will come with a massive battery, AI Triple Rear Camera and In-Display selfie camera or punch-hole display.
In a statement, Vivo said, “The Z1 Pro also comes with Vivo's exclusive Fast Charging technology to re-juice quicker than ever.” "With an aim to provide a superior smartphone experience and a seamless performance, the new Z1 Pro is perfect for multitasking on a wide-view screen," it added.
Nipun Marya, Director Brand Strategy of Vivo India said, "Offering meaningful and innovative experience has been a key pillar of our strategy and our partnership with Flipkart is a step further in that direction. The all-new Z series has been designed to empower the young millennials and fulfil the dynamic needs of the 'Gen Z'.”
As per India Today report, Vivo Z1 Pro will come with three cameras on the back panel and will sport glossy and gradient finish design. It will also have circular fingerprint sensor.
In India, the Vivo Z1 Pro is expected to be priced around Rs 20,000. On the competition front, it will take on Samsung Galaxy M40 and others.
Recently, Vivo launched Y15 smartphone in India at the price of Rs 13,990. The smartphone, which has Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled triple rear camera and 5,000 mAh battery, is available on Flipkart, Amazon.in, Paytm, Tata Cliq, Vivo India's e-store, and in the offline market. The smartphone runs Funtouch OS 9 on top of Android 9 Pie and sports 6.35-inch HD+ (720x1544 pixels) display with a waterdrop notch at the top. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC and gets 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
