Tech giant Vodafone has introduced two new prepaid packs, adding more benefit to its recharge features. The two new packs, priced at Rs 151 and Rs 158, are introduced under the Vodafone SuperPlans arena.
The new Rs 151 pack offers 1 GB of 4G/3G data per day with a validity of 28 days. Along with this, the pack also offers unlimited voice calls, which are exempted at 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per month.
The second new pack, Rs 158 prepaid pack, offers 1 GB of 4G/3G data per day for 28 days, along with the same amount of unlimited voice calls. Both the packs are, for now, available only in the Southern state of Kerala.
Vodafone’s Rs 158 pack competes with Reliance Jio’s Rs 149 pack, which in turn offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages per day, and 1.5 GB of 4G/3G data with a validity of 28 days.
The Rs 158 pack of Vodafone also takes on Bharti Airtel’s Rs 169 pack which offers unlimited calls, 100 SMS messages per day, and 1 GB of 4G/3G data for 28 days for Airtel partnered 4G phones and a validity of 14 days for other handsets.
While the tariff pack has only been circling in Kerala, Vodafone’s Rs 198 prepaid pack, which is applicable in all major cities, offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages per day, and 1.4 GB of 4G/3G data per day for a validity of 28 days, thus covering the Rs 158 pack for major cities.
On the other hand, the Rs 151 pack by Vodafone takes on the Rs 93 prepaid pack by Bharti Airtel and Rs 109 pack of Idea Cellular which give similar benefits of unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages per day, and 1 GB of 4G/3G data per day, with a validity of 14 days.
