Vodafone revises Rs 1,699 prepaid plan, to offer 500MB more data benefits now (file photo)
In a bid to compete against other telecom giants, Vodafone has revised its popular Rs 1,699 prepaid recharge pack and will now be offering 1.5GB of daily data for a validity period of one year. The plan also come with unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day.
The telecom operator recently launched Rs 205 and Rs 225 prepaid plans where Rs 205 plan with unlimited voice calling facility for a validity period of 35 days. It also comes with 2GB of high-speed data for the entire period. Beyond that, user can top up recharge or pay 50 paise per MB to continue services.
The Rs 225 plan comes with 4GB of high-speed data for a validity period of 48 days along with unlimited local, STD and national voice calling.
The Rs 1,699 plan earlier used to offer 1GB of high-speed data per day making it a total of 365GB of data for complete one year. Now, it comes with 1.5GB of data per day and for the complete 365 days duration, the user will be able to enjoy 547.5GB.
On the website, it also shows that the Rs 1,699 plan will also be offering unlimited voice calling along with 100 SMS per day for the entire validity period. Apart from this, it also offers free access to the Vodafone Play app which features several TV shows and movies.
The plan is expected to be rolled out firstly in Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Kolkata, Maharashtra and Goa, Mumbai, and the UP East circles.
